Charitable Giving: Eastern Iowa Arts Academy

During the month of September, TrueNorth is proud to sponsor the Eastern Iowa Arts Academy (EIAA). We have some exciting things in store for the month and it all benefits this great organization. We invite you to follow along as we share our efforts with you!

About Eastern Iowa Arts Academy (EIAA)

Established in 2007, the Eastern Iowa Arts Academy offers quality after school arts programming for K-12 grade youth in Eastern Iowa schools and human service organizations. Classes are offered in art, music, dance, drama, creative writing and cultural arts, - and all are offered at no cost to participants.   

How TrueNorth Plans to Help

• TrueNorth will kick off (pun intended) fundraising efforts with some friendly competition. We will put out two buckets to collect donations from TrueNorth team members.  One bucket will represent the Iowa Hawkeye football team while the other will represent the Iowa State Cyclones.  The bucket to raise the most money by the end of the week will determine which school's fight song is played over our PA system!
• TrueNorth will continue fundraising efforts by hosting a building-wide bake sale during the third week of September, hosted by our Employee Benefits team.
• Our Casual for a Cause Committee has assembled a week-long activity pack.  For $5, TrueNorth employees can opt to participate in various activities, including a coloring competition, word search, and a music trivia game. Keep an eye out on social media. We'll be sure to share the fun with you!
• As always, you can count on seeing the TrueNorth team sporting denim the last Wednesday in September, as the office will be partaking in our "Casual for a Cause" day to help support The Eastern Iowa Arts Academy (EIAA).

How You Can Help:

Please consider becoming a patron of the Eastern Iowa Arts Academy. Your support will help them continue to provide positive experiences for youth in our community. If you are interested in making a denotation to the Eastern Iowa Arts Academy, you can do the following.

• Make a one-time online payment to the EIAA by clicking here.
• Partake in the 10 Dollar Arts Challenge - just $10 a month for 12 months will support the arts and help provide quality arts programming to diverse populations across our community. Accept EIAA's challenge. 
• Enroll your child. Eastern Iowa Arts Academy is pleased of offer arts programming for youth and adults in our community, all at no cost to participants.  Register for classes here.
