Biking: The New Way to Commute
posted by TrueNorth Employee Benefits on Tuesday, June 13, 2017
The Federal Highway Administration reports that the average American household spends 25 percent of its income on car transportation costs. Instead of driving to work, try a cheaper, healthier, and more environmentally friendly way to commute: biking. If you went five miles at a speed of 10 miles per hour you would spend 30 minutes, burn 200 calories, and reduce the amount of pollution in the air.
