Charitable Giving: Hercules' Haven
During the month of June, TrueNorth will be raising funds for Hercules' Haven.
Hercules' Haven is a farm in Springville, Iowa that rescues abused, neglected and unwanted farm animals. They provide a home and much-needed love and care for these unwanted animals. They also offer Animal Assisted Therapy, which invites people to interact and bond with the animals to aid in their path to wellness.
HOW TRUENORTH PLANS TO HELP
- During the middle of the month of June, TrueNorth will start fundraising efforts by hosting a building-wide bake sale.
- We will also host a lemonade stand and games. A variety of games will be hosted, including “chuck a duck.”
- As always, you can count on seeing the TrueNorth team sporting denim the last Wednesday in June, as the office will be partaking in our "Casual for a Cause" day to help support Hercules' Haven.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Donate: Gifts allow Hercules' Haven to continue to care for their beloved friends. Their expenses include food, veterinary care, fencing, more feed, shelter and supplies.
Get Involved: Hercules' Haven welcomes volunteers year-round that have passionate hearts. Some of their needs include animal care and clean-up, construction and repair, fundraising and marketing.
