Charitable Giving: Olivet Mission

During the months of November and December, TrueNorth will be raising funds for Olivet Neighborhood Mission. They provide families and individuals with basic needs including food, clothing and household items.
Located in Cedar Rapids, Olivet Neighborhood Mission provides many services to the community including clothing, food as well as different programs to service the surrounding area. They believe that every individual should be treated with respect, regardless of age, race, color, gender, national origin, religion, sexual orientation or disability.
HOW TRUENORTH PLANS TO HELP IN NOVEMBER
- During the month of November, TrueNorth will be collecting new or used winter items, including hats, gloves, scarves and coats.
- In the middle of the month, we will be hosting a building-wide bake sale.
- Near the end of November, TrueNorth employees can participate in a Nerf Gun style turkey shoot.
- As always, you can count on seeing the TrueNorth team sporting denim the last Wednesday in November, as the office will be partaking in our "Casual for a Cause" day to help support Olivet Neighborhood Mission.
HOW TRUENORTH PLANS TO HELP IN DECEMBER
- Early in the month, TrueNorth will be collecting gifts for kids through Holiday Tags.
- In the middle of the month, we will be hosting a building-wide bake sale.
- TrueNorth will also be hosting a raffle to raise funds. Each division or team will organize a basket, with employees buying tickets in hopes of winning.
