Charitable Giving: Sleep in Heavenly Peace

During the month of September, TrueNorth will be raising funds for Sleep in Heavenly Peace. They are a volunteer organization that is dedicated to building, assembling and delivering bunk beds to children and families in need.
Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a national nonprofit with chapters across the country. They believe that a bed is a necessity for proper physical, emotional and mental support. They also believe that all children deserve a safe, comfortable place to sleep. Volunteers for the organization build the beds for kids and families in need.
HOW TRUENORTH PLANS TO HELP
- All month long, we will be collecting new twin sheet sets and pillows. Feel free to stop by our headquarters in Cedar Rapids if you would like to donate to the cause!
- During the middle of September, TrueNorth will host a building-wide bake sale.
- We will also host fall-farm themed games. Employees that participate will be able to play games and have a treat.
- As always, you can count on seeing the TrueNorth team sporting denim the last Wednesday in September, as the office will be partaking in our "Casual for a Cause" day to help support Sleep in Heavenly Peace. This month, those who participate will also receive a caramel apple!
