THE POWER TO FORGE RELATIONSHIPS
As TrueNorth’s West Des Moines office prepared to relocate, Youth Emergency Services & Shelter (YESS) was one of the first people they called. With a mission to change lives by protecting children and empowering families, YESS serves and protects Central Iowa youth with nowhere else to turn. YESS offers them a haven to receive care and support. The nonprofit’s role has become even more vital during the pandemic, expanding their services to accommodate the community’s needs, and addressing complexities along the way.
It was just a perfect fit for us to partner with someone in the community that has needs, that develops their funds and revenues strictly from donations and grants, so being able to assist with something as simple as furnishing their office was rewarding for us.
